I am working on a new quilting project and future online class. For this project I am using fabric which I painted myself! While I was painting the fabric I made a video on how it did it – and it is SO simple! I call this a cross between kindergarten painting and old-fashioned tie dye. And the fabric turns out so wonderful, but you need to have faith that it will. There will be times during the painting process that you will really wonder at “what kind of mess have I made!” Hang in there, it all looks great in the end!
Fabric Painting Part 1 – 19 minutes 52 seconds
Fabric Painting Part 2 – 15 minutes 33 seconds
When I have the details of the class online, I’ll post it here!
If you do paint some fabric, please send photos to me at longarmu@aol.com and I’ll put them on the blog.
Very nice, Cindy! It looks like fun…

Can’t wait to see it cut up and sewn back together.

Wow! That looks like so much fun. I would love to try it sometime.
