Just today I finished this quilt for my customer, Susan L. This is her first quilt, and she did an EXCELLENT job with the piecing. Sometimes, a first quilt can have some “issues”, but this quilt was flat, even, and square – which made my job a lot more enjoyable!

The quilt is 87 x 89 inches



In the body of the quilt I used squiggly lines to create “waves” and changed the color of the thread throughout the quilt.



I quilted a double cable in the border.



The backing fabric is a marbled dark grey and you can see some of the stitching. Of course, just as I snapped the photo, a gust of wind came up and moved the quilt. And now it’s raining outside and I can’t take another photo!

This was a fun quilt to work on!
